2026 Categories

The Packaging News Sustainability & Impact Awards recognise the people, projects and businesses making measurable progress in packaging sustainability.

Evolving from the Environmental Packaging Awards, this benchmark-led programme defines the standards shaping the future of packaging through circularity, carbon reduction, innovation and impact.

Entries are independently assessed by a panel of industry experts and rated against defined criteria. Each entrant receives a confidential Benchmark Report as part of their entry, offering expert feedback and clear direction for improvement.

Shortlisted finalists achieve the Packaging News Finalist Mark, a recognised badge of excellence. Winners achieving Gold, Silver or Bronze earn a Packaging News Sustainability Mark, the verified symbol of leadership in sustainable packaging.
